1.   Artificial Insemination will be done at Hoffman A.I. Breeders at 1950 South Hwy 89-91 Logan, Utah 84321.  Artificial Insemination fee is $50 per insemination which includes collection, processing of semen and insemination only.  Additional veterinarian's fees may apply.  Mare Care $10.00 per day.  Veterinarian's health certificate is not required for A.I. 

2.  The stallion fee includes a non- refundable booking fee of $150.00 payable upon execution of this contract. The balance of this fee shall be paid, with all other mare/foal expenses to include, but not limited to mare care and veterinarian expenses when the mare is picked up or when Mare Owner is invoiced, whichever is first. Invoices are payable upon receipt. Mare Owner may not remove mare from Breeder's possession until all expenses are paid in full.

4.  Mares shall be halter broke and reasonable to handle. A copy of mare's registration certificate shall accompany mare.

5.  The mare shall be in a healthy  sound breeding condition, free from infectious, contagious and transmissible diseases.  A copy of veterinarian's health certificate shall accompany mare; otherwise, Breeder's veterinarian will examine mare at Mare Owner's expense.  Breeder reserves the right to refuse mare if not in satisfactory condition.  If mare is refused, the booking fee shall constitute liquidated damages.

6.  Breeder agrees to diligently try to settle mare; however, if mare fails to settle, for any reason, Mare Owner will hold Breeder blameless. Mare Owner agrees to give Breeder ample opportunity to settle mare.

7.  This contract contains a "Live Foal Guarantee". A live foal is described as a newborn foal that stands and nurses without assistance. If foal is born dead, there are return privileges for the succeeding year only if Breeder is notified within 14 days and receives a veterinarian's statement confirming death. Mare Owner, if possible will leave mare with Breeder until pronounced "safe in foal" by Breeder's veterinarian. This is approximately 45 days from last date bred.  However, if this is not possible,  Mare Owner will leave mare at least until she has past over one heat period in order to be guaranteed a live foal.  In compliance with this, if Breeder is unable to settle mare, Mare Owner will not be charged any balance on the breeding fee other than board per day.  If after being 

pronounced "safe in foal", the mare should miscarry, abort, or prove barren after leaving the Breeder's premises, Mare Owner has the privilege to return her for breeding during the current breeding season or the following year only. It is the responsibility of the Mare Owner to provide proper care to the mare during her pregnancy. Foal abortion or stillborn foals due to neglect or caused by Rhino will make live foal guarantee null and void.

8.  A "Breeders Certificate" will be issued for the foal, conceived by this mating, only after the Mare Owner has notified Stallion Owner said mare has produced a live foal and all expenses have been paid in full.

9.  Both parties agree that Bar~on Ranch, the Breeder, their agents or employees are not liable for death, sickness, disease, and/or accident including consequential caused to the mare and /or foal. Mare Owner will likewise not be responsible for any death, sickness, disease, and/or accident including consequential damages caused to stallion. Bar~on Ranch will exercise their best judgment in supervising and caring for mare and foal.

10.  By signing this contract, Mare Owner/agent, their heirs, successors and assigns agree without exception to all the conditions stated herein. This contract represents the entire agreement between the parties. No other agreements or promises, either verbal or implied are included unless specifically stated in writing and signed by both parties. This contract is non transferable or assignable. Sale, death, or unfitness of either the stallion or the mare voids this contract.
